Missouri Department of Transportation – 2007

$420 Million Design Build

The largest highway project the Department has ever let, this Design Build contract includes removing and replacing over 10.5 miles of interstate and 29 bridges. The western half of the project was completed 2 weeks ahead of schedule and opened to traffic in December of 2008. Crews are currently working on the closed eastern portion of the project to open to interstate traffic by December 31 of 2009. MBI is part of the Gateway Constructors teams that also includes Fred Weber, Inc. and Granite Construction.
Highway 40, Lake St. Louis Blvd. to Interstate 70

$23 Million - 2007

This project is the last of the series to bring Highway 40 from Downtown to Interstate 70 up to interstate standards. This 2 mile project includes new concrete pavement, a new interchange at Prospect Blvd and rehabilitation of existing structures and a new structure over Pereque Creek
Route 100, Franklin County, MO

Missouri Department of Transportation - 2008

$21.1 Million

 

This project consists of adding two additional lanes on a section of Rte. 100 from west of Interstate 44 to just east of Washington, MO. This project has 850,000 CY of excavation, 8- miles of two lane concrete pavement and one new and one widening bridge to be complete by June of 2010.
Runway 12L-30R Keel Section Rehabilitation

Lambert – St. Louis International Airport – 2008

$3.5 Million


This is the second project to complete the rehabilitation of the Keel Section of Runway 12L-30R at Lambert. Over 10,000 SY of 22-inch pavement and all associated base, electrical and striping will be removed and replaced in a 10-day runway closure period.
Creve Coeur Creek Sanitary Trunk Sewer Relief, Phase 1 The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District – 2009

$7.1 Million
Phase one of the construction of approximately 6,000 LF of pipe sewers and structures varying in size from 8” to 72” in diameter located west of Creve Coeur Mill Road and north of Olive Blvd. in the Cities of Chesterfield and Maryland Heights, MO.
Vandeventer Bridge Replacement Project Metro – 2009

$4.1 Million
The first true Design-Build project for Metro, St. Louis’ Mass Transit Agency, this project replaces the Metro Bridge over Vandeventer Avenue in the City of St. Louis. The uniqueness of this project is the completion of the bridge must be done during an allowed track shutdown between December 24th of 2008 and January 3rd of 2010.
Taxiway Victor Reconstruction, Taxiway F to Runway 6-24 Lambert - St. Louis International Airport - 2009

$7.4 Million
This reconstruction and realignment project of Taxiway Victor includes over 40,000 CY of excavation, pavement removal and recycling into base, 25,000 SY of 18" pavement and associated drainage, electrical and striping work. There are also tight phasing requirements when completing the new tie-in at existing Runway 6-24.
